Surprising snow, indeed.
12/25/07 01:29 pm...I can't remember the last time snow fell on Christmas day.
I remember one year getting stuck on a school bus for four hours while snow poured onto the city like a firm feather blanket -- I was reading Interview With A Vampire (though I finished it too quickly and had to resort to staring out the window), and the chains were underneath my seat, so I had to get up and stand in the aisle for a bit while the bus driver dragged them out one at a time.
Even this wet heavy snow that isn't, at least here, sticking at all -- it's wonderful to see it falling.
