D-d-d-d-on't touch that button!
10/14/03 09:39 pmSo I was arguing with myself over a particular issue today.
"Do it!" "Don't do it!" "Go on! Feed the impulse!" "No, no, it's just too hasty."
I think I've decided, but I'm letting it go for a week to see if I change my mind.
In other notes, I have no rebuttal for my morning post. My experiences with reading and writing lately have become more "mature" at the expense of being somewhat less "Fun!" I'm not sure exactly who it was that taught me critical reading skillz(tm), but I think I'd like to punch them in the nose~! I'm an escapist reader, whether that means escaping into the plot, the style, or simply the prose. I don't necessarily want to think about what I'm reading. Hemph.
But I jest.
I'll close this week with a short poetic interlude.
my soliloquy is silenced
by the surfeit of sound
still somehow I am gladdened
by the sounds that I have found.
