alasanonI'm playing games to wipe my mind clean of the haze. It isn't working, of course, not completely, but if I sit very still and try not to move my head too much to either direction, the ache behind my eyes dulls and I can almost begin to relax.
I'm so tired, but sleeping is an impossibility not unlike licking your own elbow. The measurements don't add up, and you look quite mad while you're trying. I've been sitting and staring at my phone, scrolling endlessly through the news of the day, just like everyone else here in this place.
But things are brightening, though it may be a matter of rays of sun through a dark cloud. There are almost certainly greater storms on the way, but let me take heart from this while I can.
