A moment to (wait no i can’t)

By this point, the air had grown chillier, somewhat. It was still unseasonably warm, climate shifts rendering us south when we are not. But autumn was in the queue, rot settling in comfortably in the yellowing leaves.

And yet the year was going too quickly. I don’t know what happened to October. I think I spent it mostly at home, sitting on the couch and sometimes walking to the shops and everything seemed to be going by me without pause.
