Tuesdays...

...sometimes surprise and annoy. Tomorrow is Christmas and I am very busy. Somehow I stole this time at work away from the noxious customers and am using it to muse.

Today's sales were astonishingly decent, and if I'd had the patience to remain a few hours longer than my required time, they might have been even better.

But Tuesdays. I must return to the topic of Tuesdays.

As a Tuesday, today must surely resemble all previous Tuesdays in some respect. I shall endeavour to discover the thread of this day. I think that may be the true purpose of this particular journal. Or might that be porpoise?

I'll have to ponder that, too.
In the meantime, there are people here, so I must anon.
ANON!

Afterwards.

There was shopping, today, and much rather abortive relaxation. I wish that someday I might have a few hours to think back on today with a little less of a feeling of being harried. And yet, in some respects, it was rather fun. Yes, fun.

There are people in this world I care about, and many of them will be gathered up soon, in a net of ribbons and pine needles and warm wishes.

Nothing in this world can be better than to have your friends about you in wintertime, with a fire in the fireplace, warm drinks to offer them, and good food to tumble into their tummies.

Peace to all. ^_^

Just a moment, and the trees and animals will all bow down to celebrate the hour of some mysterious saviour's theoretical birth. I think I'll follow the pagan traditions on this one. Please welcome the beginning of Winter with the welcoming of Spring.

It's a beautiful thing, and will only grow moreso if it decides to snow before my birthday. That'll be a while, so I have hope.
